Not a day goes by when someone doesn’t tell me how they wish they knew more about their loved one’s life, or how they regret the missed opportunity to document their personal story.
Public records at our fingertips provide all sorts of biographical information, but there is only one source for an individual’s first-person accounting of their life. Only one person who knows, first-hand, the events, circumstances and meaning of their own life experiences.
As an oral historian, my job is to be your story catcher, to help you capture and preserve your family history and life story. Together, through one-on-one audio/visual interviews, or photo books, we will create a treasure that will be valued for generations to come.
THERE WAS NEVER YET AN UNINTERESTING LIFE. SUCH A THING IS AN IMPOSSIBILITY.
